Secretary Chertoff delivered a dinner keynote address at the National Security Law Conference. Topics included the relationship between law and national security, worldwide terrorism challenges, the role of intelligence gathering, the Homeland Security Department, personal identification documents, and protecting privacy and civil liberties. After his presentation he responded to audience members' questions.
