The panelists talked about the topic of national security secrets in a democracy, including leaks, whistleblowers, and the media. Other topics included classified documents, counterterrorism operations, the constitutional guarantee of freedom of the press, and protection of whistleblowers. After their presentations they responded to audience members' questions. Ms. Spaulding moderated the discussion.
