Mr.Tim Crabtree, of 'The Other Economic Summit" (TOES) explained the purpose of his organization. These members wanted to challenge the governments of the nations and created a summit to discuss the alternative issues facing each of the countries. He mentioned that he felt the G-7 nations were an “extremely unrepresentative” body regarding crucial world issues such as the environment and worldwide democracy. close
