Former President Jimmy Carter and former first lady Rosalynn Carter answered questions from the public at a town hall meeting as part of an event marking the 30th anniversary of the Carter presidency. They talked about a number of issues including the Middle East, the work of the Carter Center, U.S. energy and health policy, and the current military operations in Iraq. Brian Williams moderated the event.

The program was part of a three-day conference, “The Carter Presidency: Lessons for the 21st Century,” held on the 30th anniversary of President Carter’s inauguration. close
