As part of the Eisenhower Awards Dinner, Mr. Rogers introduced Secretary Baker and praised his career and his character. Secretary Baker expressed thanks to the Institute and reminisced about his experiences serving under President Dwight Eisenhower. He extolled Eisenhower’s accomplishments and leadership. 

Earlier James A. Baker III was presented with the Eisenhower Leadership Prize. His wife Susan G. Baker was presented with the Eisenhower Distinguished Public Service Award. close
