Senator Sanders talked about today’s Senate debate on union-related legislation. Later today, the Senate is scheduled to hold a procedural vote on a House bill that would make it easier to form or join a union. The Senator spoke at a June 19 Capitol Hill rally sponsored by the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees. He also talked about his support of H.R. 800, the Employee Free Choice Act, which passed the House 241-185 on March 1. Senator Sanders also responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. close
