General Services Administration administrator Lurita Doan testified about her recent statements that impugned the reputations of federal employees who had cooperated with a committee investigation into her conduct at the GSA. The hearing was called “Continuing Allegations of Misconduct at the General Services Administration.” Previously, Special Counsel Scott Bloch had concluded that Lurita Doan violated the Hatch Act, which bars executive branch employees from engaging in partisan political activity, during a staff meeting on January 26, 2007. close
