Anita Thompson, the widow of Hunter Thompson, talked about her book The Gonzo Way: A Celebration of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, published by Fulcrum Publishing. In her book she explained her late husband’s life philosophy. Hunter Thompson committed suicide on February 20, 2005. He was best known as one of the founders of the New Journalism movement of the 1960s and as the author of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Following her remarks Mrs. Thompson responded to questions from the audience. close
