They also debated whether the purpose of the universe is for carbon life forms or something greater. After their presentations they responded to audience members' questions.

Mr. Shermer is the author of Why Darwin Matters: The Case Against Intelligent Design. Clive Wynne is a psychology professor at the University of Florida and is the author of Do Animals Think?

Michael Denton is a human genetics professor at the University of Information Technology in Islamabad and is the author of Evolution: A Theory in Crisis.
