Vijay Vaitheeswaran talked about the book he co-authored, Zoom: The Global Race to Fuel the Car of the Future, published by Twelve. In his book, Vijay Vaitheeswaran examined the global race to build the car of the future and the challenges of creating vehicles that will run on cleaner energy sources. Mr. Vaitheeswaran discussed his book with Daniel Kammen of the University of California, Berkeley. Panelists responded to questions form the audience.
Vijay Vaitheeswaran is a correspondent for The Economist. He is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and teaches at NYU’s Stern Business School. Mr. Vaitheeswaran co-authored “Zoom: The Global Race to Fuel the Car of the Future” with Iain Carson, industry editor of The Economist.
Daniel Kammen is Director of the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory and Professor in the Energy and Resources Group at the University of California, Berkeley. close
