Defence Secretary Browne and General Wall testified before the British Defence committee about British military operations and provided an update on military deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. Secretary Browne told members of the committee that relations with the U.S. have never been stronger and British troops will now take on a “mentoring and supporting” role as troop numbers are reduced.
