Students from the University of Denver, George Mason University, and Pace University in New York City participated by broadband feed in a distance learning class.

Bill Press spoke to the class about Democrats and their policy issues. He is concerned that Democrats don’t talk about their religious faith and that Republicans claim to monopolize social issues. He responded to questions.

Mr. Press is the author of How the Republicans Stole Christmas: The Republican Party’s Declared Monopoly on Religion and What Democrats Can Do to Take it Back, published by Doubleday, and re-issued in paperback by Holt as How the Republicans Stole Religion: Why the Religious Right is Wrong about Faith and Politics and What We Can Do to Make it Right.
