Each year since 1992, Cuba has introduced a non-binding resolution in the United Nations calling for the U.S. to lift its embargo against Cuba. Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque spoke to the U.N. General Assembly. At the end of the debate, 184 countries voted in favor of the resolution. Four countries voted against it: the U.S, Israel, Palau and the Marshall Islands. close
