Alfred Regnery talked about his book, Upstream: The Ascendance of American Conservatism, published by Threshold Editions. Mr. Regnery talked about the rise of the modern conservative movement in the United States, which Mr. Regnery experienced firsthand. Mr. Regnery’s father, Henry Regnery, founded Regnery Publishing and published such books as William F. Buckley Jr.'s God and Man at Yale, considered one of the main texts of the movement. The interview was conducted in Mr. Regnery’s home in Alexandria, Virginia. close
