Richard Rhodes talked about his book, Arsenals of Folly: The Making of the Nuclear Arms Race, published in October by Alfred A. Knopf. In his book he describes the people and events that led to the arms race between the U.S. and the Soviet Union following World War II. He also addressed the nuclear policies that emerged after World War II that are still impacting the country today. Mr. Rhodes is an affiliate of the Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University. He responded to questions from members of the audience. close
