Chris Hedges talked about his book I Don’t Believe in Atheists, published by Free Press. In his book Mr. Hedges, who holds a Master of Divinity degree from Harvard Divinity School, examines the debate on religion and faith in America. He looks at a group he calls new atheists and argues that they are as dangerous as the religious fundamentalist belief systems they condemn. Mr. Hedges says that extreme sides of the religious spectrum are a threat to society and that there needs to be moderation and tolerance added to the debate. He responded to questions submitted by members of the audience.
