Dana Milbank talked about his book Homo Politicus: The Strange and Scary Tribes that Run Our Government, published by Doubleday. In his book Mr. Milbank assumes the role of an anthropologist researching national politics in Washington, D.C. He profiles the malfeasance of several politicians and outlines the many rituals and customs that are specific to the current political landscape. The guest interviewer was Juan Williams, political analyst for Fox News and National Public Radio (NPR).

Dana Milbank is a journalist for The Washington Post where he writes the “Washington Sketch” column. Mr. Milbank also serves as political analyst for MSNBC’s “Countdown with Keith Olberman.” He is the author of Smashmouth: Two Years in the Gutter with Al Gore and George W.
