Rep. Lee Terry talked about his support of Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards, part of the energy bill that is being debated by the House and Senate this month. The bill, which is expected to reach the House floor later today, raises CAFE standards to 35 miles per gallon by 2020, and incorporates billions of gallons of ethanol and other biofuels into gasoline. Rep. Terry talked about the energy and tax ramifications of the legislation. He responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. close
