William Safire appeared on on “The Book Guys” radio show to talk about the revised edition of his book Safire’s Political Dictionary, issued in paperback by Oxford University Press. Former presidential speechwriter and political columnist William Safire presented his updated political dictionary. Originally published in 1968, Mr. Safire examines political language, defining such words as “axis of evil,” "Rumsfeld’s Rules," and “red/blue state.” During the discussion, the author answered questions from telephone callers. close
