The forum focused on the representation of minorities on television, both in entertainment and news coverage. The panelists said that disenfranchisement was still occurring in America but it was not covered in the mainstream media outlets. Students talked about themselves and asked questions and made comments to the panel.
Dr. Paul Waldman wrote several books about the media and politics.
Mr. Robert Woodson worked to empower neighborhood based organizations and worked on the Homeland Security Adviser Council.
