Participating from Utica, New York, John Zogby reported on the first day of the Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby tracking poll of South Carolina Democratic voters. The poll shows Barack Obama ahead of Hillary Clinton by 18 points. He discussed Senator Obama’s lead in the race and the influence of black voters in the state’s primary race. The South Carolina Democratic primary election is January 26, 2008. close
