Participating by remote connection from New York City, Joseph Stiglitz, co-author of The Three Trillion Dollar War, talked about the cost of the war in Iraq. He talked about the rising cost of the war, its effect on the U.S. economy, and the global consequences. After five years of conflict, the costs of both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars now total $3 trillion. He responded to telephone calls and electronic mail.
