Congressman Charles Rangel gave an address on how Martin Luther King Jr.'s actions continue to shape public policy today. He talked about how the increased size of the Black and Hispanic Congressional Caucuses and the Voting Rights Act are both the result of MLK Jr.'s work. He also talked about President Bush’s final State of the Union Address, scheduled for that evening. Following his prepared remarks he answered questions from members of the audience.
