They were embedded with Brigade Combat Teams in Iraq that were part of the “surge” of U.S. forces in Baghdad, Anbar and Erbil, and talked about their experiences and made recommendations for the future. They said that civilian contractors are replacing the military reservists as the Brigade Combat Teams begin to return to the U.S. After their presentations the panelists responded to audience members' questions.
