Governor Martin O’Malley talked about the effects of the subprime mortgage crisis homeownership and the economy in Baltimore. This year the Governor signed into law legislation that provides consumer protections for those who are dealing with foreclosures in Maryland. Governor O’Malley will testify later today at the House Financial Services Committee hearing on Housing Stabilization and Homeownership Retention.
