Amar Bakshi talked about perceptions of the United States by youth around the world. He had just returned from a year of travel and of talking with what he called the “W Generation,” ordinary people whose only experience of the United States has been during the administration of George W. Bush. He presented details of youth opinions of the U.S., including anti-Americanism, from many countries and showed videotapes of several interviews. His online project is called “How the World Sees America.” After his presentation he responded to audience members' questions. close
