Thomas Graham talked about the future of Russia after Vladimir Putin’s presidency. He described his impressions of Russia after the elections, speculating about whether Russia is in a “post-Putin” era. He talked about Putin’s plans for his successor President Dmitry Medvedev, saying that Putin, as prime minister, will remain a powerful figure. He talked about the Gorbachev and Yeltsin governments, about some of President Medvedev’s projects, and about the future of U.S.-Russia relations.
