Marci Hamilton talked about and read a selection from her book Justice Denied In the book, she wrote about the current legal ramifications of child abuse and the statutes that are currently in place making it difficult for victims of childhood abuse to receive justice. She used the current clergy sexual abuse scandal as an example. Following her remarks, she responded to questions from the audience. David Clohessy, director of the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP), introduced Ms. Hamilton.
Marci Hamilton is a visiting professor at Princeton University. She was a former clerk to Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor and specializes in constitutional law and church/state relations. close
