Mahvish Ruksana Khan talked about her book My Guantanamo Diary: The Detainees and the Stories They Told Me (PublicAffairs, June 23, 2008). In her book Ms. Khan, journalist and recent law school graduate, recounts her time in Guantanamo Bay as an interpreter for Afghan detainees. She recounts her over thirty trips to Guantanamo and the relationships that she developed with the imprisoned men and her desire to secure them a fair trial. The guest interviewer was Nancy Snow. The interview was recorded at BookExpo America in the Los Angeles Convention Center.
