Jim Sheeler talked about his book Final Salute: A Story of Unfinished Lives, published by Penguin Press. He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Feature Writing for his story “Final Salute,” which was expanded into this book about families that lost loved ones in Iraq and the members of the military who are tasked with notifying them. During this event, family members of those who died in Iraq read selections from the book and videos were shown. Mr. Sheeler, Lieutenant Colonel Beck, and photographer Todd Heisler responded to questions from members of the audience.
