Thomas Woods talked about Zimbabwe’s elections, scheduled for June 27, and responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. Last week British Prime Minister Gordon Brown called on Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe to permit international observers to monitor the impending run-off presidential election. Meanwhile reports from the southern African country describe an ongoing campaign of intimidation to prevent voters from going to the polls.
