Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair delivered the address to the graduating class of Yale University at their Class Day ceremonies on the Old Campus. Former Prime Minister Blair gave advice to graduates, and talked about globalization, the rapid growth of China and India, and his role as the special envoy of the Middle East Quartet (United States, Russian Federation, European Union, and United Nations) seeking peace in that region.

At Yale University, Class Day takes place the Sunday prior to commencement and includes the awarding of academic, artistic, and athletic prizes; the celebration of undergraduate traditions; and an address by a speaker. close
