Peter Gosselin, national economics correspondent for the Los Angeles Times, spoke about his book High Wire (Basic Books). In his book, Mr. Gosselin contends that twenty-five years of free market principals have hurt American families who, he argues, now face an unreliable job market and an erosion in benefits. Steven Clemons, director of the New America Foundation, and Ellen Seidman, policy director of the New America foundation, joined Mr. Gosselin in his discussion.
