George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management hosted a forum entitled “Images, Ideas & Ideology” to examine the shifting balance of power between the two major American political parties and the role that the candidate images, issues, ideologies and coalitions play in the overall dynamics of campaigns. Some of the speakers included strategists and image-makers who were involved in the 1984 Walter Mondale campaign and the 1984 Reagan and 1988 Bush campaigns. close
