The U.S. Chamber of Commerce held their 76th annual meeting during which they invited two political columnists to speak, Pat Buchanan and Tom Braden. The two columnists questioned each other on the state of national politics of the day. Mr. Buchanan defended the actions of those involved in the Iran-Contra affair and accused the Congress of corruption and ineptitude. Mr. Braden highlighted the lack of economic growth for the middle class as major issues of the day. close
