Former Soviet Union President Mikhail Gorbachev delivered the 46th John Findley Green Foundation Lecture on global foreign policy at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, one of several stops on Mr. Gorbachev’s tour of the United States. His address was delivered from the same lectern used by Winston Churchill for his Green Lecture Series speech in 1946 where Churchill warned of the “iron curtain” descending upon Europe. Translation of President Gorbachev’s remarks from Russian to English was by voiceover. close
