Republican presidential candidate Patrick Buchanan addressed the City Club of San Diego on the recent rioting in Los Angeles and other 1992 political issues. In his speech entitled, “A Nation In Turmoil,” he also explained his reasons for entering the 1992 presidential race, and expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of the Bush Administration. Mr. Buchanan, CNN talk show host and syndicated newspaper columnist, previously declared his intention to remain in the Republican presidential race until the end of the presidential primaries, despite the fact that President Bush has secured more than enough delegates to secure the Republican presidential nomination at the party convention. Following his prepared remarks, Mr. Buchanan responded to questions from the audience. close
