The Center for National Policy sponsored a forum featuring media professionals and campaign officials on the performance of the media in the 1992 presidential campaign. The participants in the forum responded to a recent survey of people in the media who judged their own performance concerning the 1992 election, entitled “Press Coverage at Halftime.” Issues raised in the discussion included the Gennifer Flowers affair concerning the candidacy of Governor Bill Clinton and coverage of independent candidate Ross Perot. close
