Governor Bill Clinton, Democratic candidate for president, responded to

questions from an audience made up of undecided voters during the

taping of a “town meeting” television program, to be shown later in

the evening by NBC television. The half-hour show was sponsored by

the Democratic National Committee, and featured unrehearsed questions

from the audience, which had been chosen at random by an independent

research firm. Governor Clinton responded to questions on mainly

domestic issues, including creating jobs for Americans, health care

reform, and education reform. close
