Vice President Quayle ventured into Democratic presidential candidate Bill Clinton’s state of Arkansas to offer his criticism of Governor Clinton’s proposed economic plan for the country. The Vice President addressed a crowd of about 1400 Rotarians. Vice President Quayle began his speech with humorous comments concerning the presidential contenders Ross Perot and Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton. He also defended the Bush administration’s opposition to parental leave and health leave regulations for small business. close
