Democratic presidential nominee Gov. Bill Clinton and his running mate Sen. Albert Gore responded to questions from members of three television audiences during a live televised “town meeting” in Louisville, KY. Three correspondents from WHAS-TV in Louisville moderated the hour-long show, during which Gov. Clinton and Sen. Gore addressed a wide range of concerns of the audience members from economic policy to the Americans with Disabilities Act. The questions included a videotaped question from Vice President Dan Quayle on Gov. Clinton’s proposed economic program. The audiences in the program participated from the studio in Louisville and via satellite from Scottsburg, IN, and Taylorsville, KY. close
