Richard Elkus talked about his book Winner Take All: How Competitiveness Shapes the Fate of Nations (Basic Books; July 7, 2008). He shared his views on how globalization has affected the technology industry. Mr. Elkus argues that American has ceded its strength and the manufacturing and the research and development of technology to other countries. He says that the U.S. needs a national strategy to regain strength in the technology sector. Jacob Kirkegaard was the guest interviewer. close
