Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick pled guilty to two counts of obstruction of justice under a plea agreement that included 120 days in jail. Other provisions included one million dollars in fines and restitution and probation. He also agreed to resign his office and surrender his law license. Mayor Kilpatrick also pled no contest to assaulting a police officer. Sentencing was set for October 28, 2008.
