Will Marshall moderated a roundtable discussion on progressive policies for national security. Indiana Senator Evan Bayh made opening remarks on changing misperceptions of the Democratic Party and responded to questions from the audience. Topics in the panel discussion included the differences between conservative and progressive defense philosophy, how to both promote and live up to the principles of democracy, and collective security.
