Appearing by remote access from Nashville, Tennessee, Ameshia Cross and George Scoville talked about tonight’s presidential debate at Belmont University in Nashville. They discussed what issues are of particular importance to young and college-aged voters in this year’s election, get-out-the vote and organizing efforts among younger voters, debate activities that are happening on the Belmont campus, and their expectations of Senators Obama and McCain in tonight’s debate. Ms. Cross and Mr. Scoville are serving as debate volunteers at tonight’s event. Ameshia Cross is a senior at Belmont and has worked on several campaigns. George Scoville is a senior at Belmont University and is also editor of the Right Aisle Review, a conservative student newspaper. close
