Judge Robert Bork delivered a speech on judicial restraint titled “A Republic - If You Can Keep It” in the inaugural address of the Joseph Story Distinguished Lecture Series. Judge Bork talked about the damage done and being done by what he believes are “activist” judges, the corruption of the Senate confirmation process, and what can be done to bring back restraint to the judicial branch and Supreme Court. Following his remarks he responded to audience members' questions. close
