Terry Madonna spoke about the 2008 presidential campaign in Pennsylvania. Among the topics he addressed were the size of the Electoral College vote, the state’s role as a battleground in the election, opinion polls and voter turnout, as well as the improtance of the state to both the Obama and McCain campaigns. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. Erie Mayor Joseph Sinnot (D) and State Chairman Robert Gleason(R) spoke via telephone about party organizational efforts in the final days of the campaign. close
