Author Interview: Diane Glancy Diane Glancy talked about the Lewis and Clark expedition from the perspective of Sacajawea. Glancy noted that Lewis and Clark largely ignored Sacajawea in their journals, but had a significant role in the success of the expedition. 

Diane Glancy is the author of Stone Heart: A Novel of Sacajawea, published by Overlook. Stone Heart is written as a series of journal entries to signify the depth of the Lewis and Clark journals. close
