Van Jones talked about his book, The Green Collar Economy: How One Solution Can Fix Our Two Biggest Problems, published by HarperOne). In the book he presents a plan to help the economy and the environment, which he argues are hurting due to a reliance on nonrenewable energy sources. Mr. Jones asserts that investing in green alternatives (solar, wind power, and hybrid engines) will promote the financial and ecological well being of the country as well as provide jobs for the working class. Following his remarks he responded to questions from the audience.
