President-Elect Barack Obama honored Vice President-Elect Joe Biden for his lifetime of public service enhanced by a dedication to bipartisan achievement. Virginia Governor Tim Kaine was the master of ceremonies and Senator Chuck Hagel introduced Vice President-Elect Biden.

This dinner at Union Station was one of three bipartisan dinners held that evening by President-Elect Obama. National leaders who have exemplified a commitment to bipartisan cooperation and worked across party lines to better the lives of all Americans served as the masters and mistress of ceremonies and provided introductions of the honorees at these events. close
